Australia's iconic koalas are facing a dire threat in Gordon, near Ballarat, where timber harvesting of a bluegum plantation will leave these beloved creatures in peril.

For over two years, dedicated wildlife rescuers have been tirelessly fighting to secure the safety of these koalas, who are not only losing their habitat but are also forced to navigate a perilous journey across a busy highway. Tragically, in the past 12 months alone, four koalas have lost their lives attempting to cross this adjacent highway.

We implore our supporters to take action by contacting the Department of Environment, Energy, Climate Change, and Water (DEECA) to advocate for the immediate translocation of the remaining koalas to safer grounds.
